Do you mindfully savor your life, or do you let everyday stress and anxiety control you and your behavior? In simpler terms: Do you know how mindful are you? If not, take this Mindfulness Quiz to determine how mindful you are.

MINDFULNESS is our ability to be aware of what is going on both inside us and around us. The object of your mindfulness can be anything. You can look at the sky and breathe in and say, “Breathing in, I’m aware of the blue sky.” So you are mindful of the blue sky. The blue sky becomes the object of your mindfulness. “Breathing out, I smile to the blue sky.”

To know and understand how mindful you are, please answer all the questions in the mindfulness quiz, as honestly as possible about how frequently you experienced each of the following statements over the past few weeks.

The practice of mindfulness and meditation has been linked to one’s true happiness, overall health physical and emotional, and psychological and mental well-being. Many of us don’t even know what mindfulness is exactly and how exactly it helps us to live more mindfully, let alone how to cultivate it. 

The quiz below draws on a mindfulness scale developed by researchers at La Salle University and Drexel University, led by psychology professor Lee Ann Cardaciotto.
