Start with a quiet environment.

You can start with any type of meditation, but we recommend starting with a guided meditation because it will help you focus on what you need to learn. If you’re new to meditation, try listening to an audio recording first. Once you feel comfortable with the process, you can move on to doing it yourself.

Sit comfortably.

Start by sitting quietly and focusing on your breath. As you breathe in, imagine that you are filling up with energy. As you exhale, let go of any tension or stress. Imagine that you are releasing negative thoughts and emotions. Focus on your breathing as you continue to sit quietly.

Close your eyes.

Once you feel calm and relaxed, open your eyes. You should notice that your mind has slowed down and become more focused. Now focus on your heart center. Breathe deeply into your heart center. Feel the warmth of your heart center. Let yourself relax completely.

Focus on your breath.

As you breathe in, imagine that you are breathing in love. As you breathe out, imagine that you are releasing any negative energy. Continue to breathe in love and release negativity until you feel totally at peace.

Imagine yourself sitting in front of a fire.

You will notice that as you breathe in, you are inhaling positive energy. This is because when we breathe in, our body absorbs oxygen, which is pure energy. If you were to visualize yourself sitting in front of an open flame, you would absorb the heat and light of the fire. In other words, you would be absorbing the positive energy of the fire.

What happens when your heart chakra opens up?

You will be able to let go and feel free

Letting go of the grudges is a strong power and freedom. When you have a healed heart chakra it is easy for you to let go of the feelings of grudges and move on with a healthy mindset. When your heart chakra is not healed or blocked you tend to hold grudges even for the people you love, and it becomes harder for you to forgive yourself or others.

You will embrace intimacy and not fear it

Getting intimate is not just being close to someone in the physical senses but it is also related to being emotionally open and vulnerable to someone. It becomes harder for you to trust and share your true feelings when you have an unhealed heart chakra. It allows you to be vulnerable and open toward the people around you.

You will enjoy others around you

When you have a closed heart chakra you tend to crave isolation. An excessive need to get isolated is a sign that your heart chakra is not healed. An open heart chakra welcomes the participation of enjoying quality time with the people you love.

You will start trusting again

A healed heart chakra helps you gain trust towards the people you are surrounded by. It helps you affirm your faith in yourself. A person with an unhealed heart chakra tends to find it harder to trust people and believe that everyone is going to betray them at one point or the other.
