To begin with, let me tell you what breathing yoga is:

Breathing yoga is a type of yoga where we focus on controlling our breath. We do this by learning how to breathe properly. Proper breathing means that we inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth. By doing this, we can help ourselves to feel calmer and relaxed.

There are different ways to breathe-

  1. One of them is called diaphragmatic breathing. Diaphragmatic breathing is when we take deep breaths through the belly.
  2. Another way to breathe is called abdominal breathing. Abdominal breathing is when we take shallow breaths through the abdomen.

Both methods work well. However, some people find that diaphragmatic breathing works better than abdominal breathing.

So, if you want to learn how to breathe properly, then follow these steps.

  1. First, sit comfortably.
  2. Then, close your eyes.
  3. Next, place one hand on your chest and the other hand on your stomach.
  4. Now, slowly inhale through your nose while counting to four.
  5. Once you’ve counted to four, hold your breath for as long as you can.
  6. Then, slowly exhale through your mouth while counting to eight.
  7. Repeat this process until you feel comfortable.

After you’ve practiced this exercise for a few days, you should notice that you’re feeling calmer and relaxed. That’s because you’re now able to control your breathing. As a result, you’re able to control your emotions.

I will also teach you how to breathe properly using the diaphragm. You will learn how to use your breath to relax and calm down. Finally, I will teach you how to use your breath during meditation. This is a great exercise to practice before bedtime.

I hope you enjoy it!
